Ask Our EngineersA jaw crusher is used for primary crushing of large-sized raw materials (up to 1,500 mm). It uses compressive force between two jaw plates. A cone crusher is used for secondary and tertiary crushing of pre-crushed material, producing finer and more uniform particle sizes. For a typical crushing line, a jaw crusher processes material first, followed by a cone crusher for size reduction.
VSI stands for Vertical Shaft Impact crusher. It uses high-speed rotating impellers to throw material against a stationary anvil ring or other rock particles (rock-on-rock), breaking it into well-shaped, angular sand particles. VSI machines are ideal for producing manufactured sand (M-sand) from limestone, basalt, granite, river pebble, and other materials.
